These are challenging topics and this class is not being taught by a licensed therapist or credentialed teacher. Rather information and lessons are being shared by a caring and experienced homeschool mom of 3 adult children, who has invested much time to research and personal growth in this area. I come from a faith-based perspective. My objective is not to tell students what to think or believe, but to give them a lot to consider and hopefully empower them with new skills to help them cope and navigate difficulties during their teen years and beyond.

A more detailed outline including reading and other resource suggestions will be provided after enrollment; prior to the first week of classes.
