    ***Each day has unique lessons and is priced individually so that you may sign up for one, two, or three days as you choose.

    These are the 'learning to' years where growth and knowledge are developed with purpose. Students explore academic areas and develop skills across core subjects of literacy, math, social studies, geography, art, and physical education. Children learn through games, music, sensory exploration, worksheets, books, and more.

  • Meets Tuesdays + Thursdays

    Program description:

    First grade is FUNtastic! Students will engage in a variety of fun activities designed to foster creative thinking, build character development, and reinforce 1st grade academic standards. This program will include cooperative group activities, interactive games, songs, and projects. Students will develop a love for the learning process, while strengthening valuable skills in reading, writing, social studies, science, art and problem solving.

  • T + TH 9a-1:30p $1100

    Or Wednesdays 9a-1:30p  $550

    Mrs. Zorichak is offering a 4.5 hour program (includes break & lunch) on Tuesday and continuing on Thursday. 

    There is also a 4.5 hour program (breaks & lunch) on Wednesdays which is a duplicate but condensed version of the T/Th program. 

    Students will experience Social Studies, History, Geography, Science, Math workshop, Language Arts, and Reading Detectives … with an interactive hands-on approach. This includes projects, simulations, and games with independent and cooperative/group learning.

    The program includes thematic units that incorporate the importance of character development such as: curiosity, responsibility, generosity, courage, love, wisdom, and loyalty.

    Some of the units this year include: explorers, treasure maps, colonists, holidays, world cultures and Christmas traditions, pet detectives, gold discovery, medals of bravery, transcontinental railroad, US Heritage game, careers, etc.

** À La Carte enrichment classes are available at the end of each day and are listed separately. These classes are not included in the price of our programs.
